MECATHERM develops and produces equipment and automated production lines for the industrial bakery sector. The equipment manufactured by MECATHERM is suitable for the preparation of all types of products:
Crusty Bread: baguettes and derivatives, ciabattas, crackers, rolls, etc.
Soft & Pastry (pastries and other baked goods): toast bread, pizzas, buns, quiches, puff pastries, tarts, milk loaves, croissants, macaroons, brownies, madeleines, etc.
On average MECATHERM installs one production line per week in factories across the world.
More than 780 automatic production lines are currently operating in 69 countries on five continents. They produce the equivalent of 30,000 tonnes of baked goods every day. Their hourly production rate ranges from 700 kg to over 5 tonnes of dough, outputting a variety of products optimally suited to the client’s industrial requirements and distribution method: fresh, frozen unbaked, frozen pre-baked and frozen baked goods. The industrial process ensures higher food safety standards than certain traditional processes.
