Company profile

Bussy is the Italian specialist in wafer products for pastry bakeries, gelaterias and home consumption. Its exclusive recipe is the result of consolidated know-how accumulated over a fifty year span, which has been used to experiment new taste and couverture combinations.

Today like yesterday, only top quality select ingredients are used, with no GMO, no preservatives, and only natural flavours and colouring. Bussy only makes wafers, which are recognized around the world for their rich and fragrant taste and for their unbeatable crunchiness.

Bussy was the ingenious idea of a young pastry chef from Milan, Luigi Vandone, who bought a small laboratory specialising in the production of decorative wafers in 1967.

This is where the Bussy wafer came into being as the first semi-processed crunchy wafer ready to be filled with any variety of cream.

Today, Bussy produces more than 160 types of wafer at a rate of about 700,000 pieces a day, and it sells them in more than 20 countries around the world.

Bussy, not just a simple wafer.

The Bussy catalogue today has more than 160 listings in different flavours, shapes and colours.

The big Bussy wafer family comes in three types: wafers for filling with cream, wafers to decorate ice creams and sweet desserts, and wafers for home consumption.

Bussy, a world of wafers.
