Pan, Board and Tray management are generally classified as among the most difficult operational challenges for food producers. The jobs are labor intensive and carry a high risk of repetitive strain and other similar injuries. KATANA ROBOTIC SCORING
Katana is the new standard for bakeries that want to score their bakes products with increased efficiency, cleanliness and speed.
By combining ultrasonic and conventional cutting technology with 3D Imaging and Robotics, we’ve developed a machine that can score a wide variety of baked goods of different shapes and sizes, with precision and accuracy.
Our most recent innovation is the ability to perform compound angle scores, allowing bakers to achieve the highly sought after artisanal finishes that today’s market is so hungry for, on a seemingly endless range of breads, rolls and buns.
CAKE SCULPTOR
ABI LTDs Cake Sculptor is a first-of-its-kind robotic cake decorating system that combines a cutting-edge depositing system, ABB robotics and a powerful, easy to use, touch screen control interface. With this revolutionary system, anyone can execute breathtaking designs, comparable to the work of the top decorating professionals. No programming skills required.
Through extensive cooperation with highly skilled cake decorating artists we have made tremendous improvements to the overall capability of the system and to the quality of the finished product that Cake Decorator produces.
Our diverse and growing selection of color and tip combinations means that users of this system are only limited by their imagination and creativity. With Cake Decorator you simply create or upload your designs and let the robot do the work.
BAGEL LINES
Our state-of-the-art -bagel production lines have successful installations around the globe. We have integrated our solutions for clients throughout North America, Europe and most recently in Asia. Over the past 30 years our machines have produced over 20,000,000 tons of baked goods for satisfied customers ranging from mid-size commercial bakeries to large-scale industrial baking centers.
Our bagel productions begin with a standalone Divider-Former capable of producing up to 7000 pieces per hour and range up to full turnkey lines capable of producing up to 49000 pieces per hour.
Our most recent innovations include dramatic improvements to the design of our dough feeding equipment, as well as the development of an interchangeable 5-7 lane forming and panning system.
BEND AND PINCH
Crobot, our patented Croissant bending and pinching system, is a unique machine that combines our patented end of arm tool with the versatile and proven technology of the ABB Flex Picker delta robot.
The system is designed to process croissants of various sizes. This 3D Vision guided robotic system is capable of adapting to random product position and orientation. It also ensures aligned placement of the fully closed croissant after processing.
SPC Data collection along with live trending and historical reporting provide easy control and a detailed overview of the operating process.
